Our professional theatre has proven time and again to be a valued leader in our Central Vancouver Island arts community. Our board, staff, and volunteers work hard
to make quality arts and cultural programming accessible to everyone. We are dedicated to growing and supporting talented theatre professionals and moving and informing our loyal audiences.

What else does TheatreOne have to offer?

• Professional, live theatre productions and presentations on our Mainstage, located at Vancouver Island University’s Malaspina Theatre.
• Emerging Voices play readings (currently virtual online readings) that help develop local playwrights’ skills and support the creation of new plays. This program is generously supported by the City of Nanaimo.
• Our program for families and youngsters Just Kidding for Kids that celebrates and educates people of all ages in the performing arts.
